A nice hotel in a strategic setting with a wide range of little extras. Excellent service, outstandingly helpful and competent staff during stay. Location not far from shops & up town centre as well as all the major shopping/fast food outlets. Also, close to Toowoombas best Chinese restaurant. Easy check in and late check out. The quiet feel of the venue.

Came with my husband, everything was great. The staff was very good and courteous all the time. Lots of food for breakfast, which was NICE to satisfy everyone.

So, I recently had a quick stop at a place that was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was perfect for my medical appointment, just a short drive from the clinic, which was super convenient after a long workday. I was really just looking to grab dinner and crash for the night, you know? The check-in was smooth, which was a relief since we arrived pretty late—almost 11 pm! The staff was really accommodating, staying up late for us. The lady at reception was lovely; she made us feel welcome right away. Now, the room itself had its ups and downs. It was clean, and I have to admit, the bed was comfy! They had the basic amenities, and I appreciated that. But then there were some issues. For one, the bathroom felt pretty grimy. The shower was definitely not what you’d want to see—like, I had to wear shoes to take a shower because it just felt filthy. There were also no spare blankets, which is always a bit of a bummer when you want to snuggle up. Getting the hot water was a test of patience. It took forever for it to heat up, and then it would go cold randomly. The shower head was spraying water everywhere, which made it a bit of a challenge. And let’s not forget the door—it had a hole in it, like someone had kicked it. Not a great feeling when you're trying to unwind after a long day. The kitchen situation was pretty disappointing. I would’ve loved to find at least some basics like a few plates or utensils, but there were none. And if you wanted to wash the ones they provided, good luck finding somewhere hygienic to do that! Oh, and there was no internet that worked well enough to binge-watch anything—we tried, but had to pause every few minutes. they had a decent flat-screen TV, even though figuring out the channels was like solving a puzzle, and I appreciated having the electric kettle for a quick cuppa. But really, being a pet owner, I was frustrated to find out last-minute that there was an extra fee for bringing my dog. I thought we’d be able to have him without the added cost. Just little things like having some garbage bags in the kitchen would've made a difference, too. The car park was a tight squeeze, especially for folks with mobility issues. Getting in and out felt tricky. Oh, and there was a non-smoking policy, but smoke still made its way into our room from next door. That wasn’t great, especially with kids around. It's fascinating how a place can have such a good setup in terms of location and staff but drop the ball on cleanliness and small details that really matter when you're just trying to enjoy a quiet night.

I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it. Everything about the motel was excellent, and my room was both spacious and functional. the location is fantastic, just a short walk to the shopping center and the heart of the city. I received a warm welcome from the staff, who were accommodating and pleasant throughout my visit.
